about our weekend

Oh!!! What a life. A full weekend of Baseball and Sunshine. I have to say I can never get tired of baseball. We went to Yuma AZ and watched as the LVHS Baseball team played in a tournament. They did really well. They won 4 out of 5 games. Blayne hit a Home Run in the second game. All of the Team did well at bat and in the field. It was nice to visit with our Friends we have made throughout the years. We have many great memories of baseball games. This is a bitter sweet year for me as it is Blayne's last year. But I guess he has to grow up some time.

We appreciate the time we were able to spend with Jim and Laura and their Children. They were so very much fun to be with. They just made us feel so welcome, we didn't want to leave.

We are home now and Baseball is in full swing with both of the Boys. Blayne and Donny have started. So if you can't find me at home I am at either one of two fields. LVHS or Freedom Park. On Saturdays you will find me watching Jaden play Soccer.

Our Wonderful Weekend at The Ball Games

Our Missionary

I got to talk to Elder Grondel by e-mail today he is doing very well. Working hard. The work is hard there, the people are slow to listen. He has a family that needs extra prayers so that they can know that what the Elders are teaching is true. So if you could pray for the Mayfields to except the gospel please do I know that your prayers will not go unnoticed. I think that he is learning patience. Which I can tell you he didn't learn from me.

I think that this blog thing will be fun when I learn how to really do it.

my first blog

So all of you have inspired me to go out of my comfort zone and make a blog. I think that this will be a good thing for me. I hope that you do not get tired of hearing about my kids and grandkids and my missionary. That is what I live for.
